Complete real-time monitoring of your server and application performance

The AppFirst Dashboard provides a quick view into how your infrastructure is running and what impact it is having on your servers. The infrastructure view is based on historically observed behavior patterns, updated in real-time every 60 seconds. When your infrastructure is behaving like it has in the past, you’ll see resource bars that are low and light in color, which means all systems go. As soon as data becomes abnormal, the bar for the affected resource will rise and turn darker, and if it becomes really abnormal, the bar will rise to the top and turn dark green. When you see that your infrastructure is behaving unusually, you can access AppFirst Data Insight to explore more details about recent changes in the collected data.

The Dashboard shows the impact of your deployed infrastructure on all of the servers across your entire application stack. You can see how much memory, CPU and disk space is being used, and how much is still available. The infrastructure view also lets you know when a server has stopped connecting with the network, and how long it’s been out. Access to real-time, accurate information about infrastructure performance lets you plan proactively, so you always have the resources your infrastructure needs to run properly.

Nagios and Windows Performance Counter Integration

If you’re a Linux-based Nagios user or a Windows Performance Counter user, you can access the polled data from these systems on the AppFirst Dashboard, so you can free up your Nagios server and save money on maintenance costs. AppFirst streams the Nagios or Performance Counter output and alerts from your servers to provide a consolidated view on the Dashboard and automatically generated alerts on AppFirst Alert Management.
